BIO

Nish Wadada è una cantante dalle discendenze capoverdiane nata e cresciuta a Rotterdam, Olanda. Ha cantato per 15 anni in un ambiente di musica Zouk, per poi entrare nel 2004 nel mondo del reggae come corista nella band “Delidel Touch”. 3 anni dopo ha lasciato l’Europa in cerca delle sue radici. Nel 2007 si è trasferita con la madre nella terra paterna, le isole di Capo Verde nella costa ovest di Mamma Africa .

Ha continuato il suo interesse nella musica reggae mentre scopriva la sua essenza di imperatrice africana e come si vive nella madre terra. Più tardi, nel 2011, Nish entra in una reggae band chiamata “Kolabeat” e presto passa dall’amare il reggae al viverlo. Nel settembre 2012, con l’incoraggiamento di Taking Over Productions, Delmighty Sounds Studio e il produttore portoghese Jah Version, inizia un progetto pronto per entrare nella scena roots reggae della cultura europea del Sound System.

Durante il tour nell’estate del 2013 ha cantato al Musa Festival insieme a Jah Version (Portogallo)..al Garance Festival (Francia) accanto a Salomon Heritage Sound System (Montpellier) e Channel One Sound System (UK)..nella Dub Station Vitrolles (Francia) accanto a King Shiloh (Olanda)…ha fatto anche una grande performance alla Rototom’s Dub Station con Jah Version.

Durante il tour nell’estate del 2014 ha cantato nei festival europei più grandi come: Dub Camp, Exit Festival, Dour Festival, Garance Reggae Festival, Rototom Sunsplash, ReggaeBus Festival e altri. Nel 2015 ha fatto uscire un album roots reggae chiamato “Jah Calling” con i produttori di Microkosmo-Music di Parigi, prodotto nominato miglior album reggae nel 2016 da “Victoire du reggae” contest francese..sempre nel 2015 è uscito il suo EP Dub “Queens & Kings” insieme a Delmighty Sounds e 4 vinili con labels tipo King Shiloh Majestic Music, Salomon Heritage, I-Skankers e The Reggae Bus Project.

Quindi seguitela per le sue prossime uscite come “Wicked Man” (King Shiloh)..”Perfect Mind” (Dub Invasion)..”Activation Time” (KLA Dub Box) e altre ancora..

Biografia

One of the brightest lights of the roots-influenced underground community for the past half-decade, Poland born Mateusz Miller has pioneered a compelling and unique fusion of sounds that encompass dub, reggae and dubstep under his Radikal Guru moniker. Inspired by an appreciation of soundsystem culture, his music has become synonymous with suffocating degrees of dread bassweight, vibrant and eclectic palettes of tone, and varying energy levels that cater for both dancefloor focussed ruckus and for more meditative listening.

Heavily influenced by the likes of King Tubby and Scientist, Matt first gained worldwide acclaim and recognition through a string of killer vinyl releases on leading reggae/dubstep imprint Dubbed Out Records, before forming a creative partnership with fellow label Moonshine Recordings where he has gone on to cement his reputation as one of the strongest proponents of the scene. His Moonshine discography boasts highlights that include his debut LP ‘The Rootstepa’ and the mighty ‘Dread Commandments’ 12” or his second LP ''Subconscious'' that includes dancefloor killers like Stay Calm ft. YT or Warning ft. Echo Ranks. Keep an eye out for some seriously exciting developments in the pipeline including the release of his third album in 2016.

Not only a talented producer, Matt is also a fine selector and deejay, conveying his passion for music through DJ sets that pay homage to the sound and culture’s rich history as much as they showcase the freshest cuts of sonic innovation from himself and his contemporaries. He has hit spots all around the world as far afield as Russia or South Africa to assault soundsystems with bass-fuelled beats and positive vibes, including recent gigs in the US and Mexico. Catch Mat bringing heat to a series of festivals this summer with his new live act project in which he will be supported on stage by full brass section and guest vocalists !

Barry Issac è uno dei cantanti, producer, scrittore di canzoni con più talento in circolazione in questo momento. Barry nasce a Portland in Jamaica e sin dalla tenera età entra in contatto con i più grandi cantanti e producer che l'isola in quel momento sfornava, dai quali imparerà la passione e la dedizione per la Reggae Music.
Sul finire della sua adolescenza Barry si sposta con la famiglia verso l'Inghilterra e subito viene ingaggiato come operator dai uno dei top sound del momento. Barry sente la volontà di esprimersi anche vocalmente e forma la sua prima band: RAS ISSAC AND THE RASSES con i quali si esibisce in lungo e in largo per tutta l'Inghilterra. Nel 1979 abbraccia definitivamente la cultura Rastafari e nello stesso anno Barry inizia la sua carriera discografica, registrando per vari produttori in Inghilterra, negli Stati Uniti e in Europa.
Step successivo per il prolifero Barry è stata la creazione della propria label: REGGAE ON TOP con la quale pubblica il suo primo Lp REVOLUTIONARY MAN riscontrando subito un grande successo in tutto il mondo. Barry Issac grazie alla sua versatilità artistica riesce a produrre musica che spazia dal deep roots alla musica da ascolto riuscendo a raggiungere un pubblico molto variegato per età e gusti musicali. Nel corso della sua statuaria carriera Barry Issac si è esibito al fianco di artisti come ALTON ELLIS, HUGHIE ISSACHAR e i TWINKLE BROTHER solo per citarne alcuni

Pablo Raster è un musicista, cantante, produttore, ha prodotto decine di album e ha suonato in più di 800 tra concerti in Italia ed in Europa. Ha collaborato con Zion Train, Madaski, Vlastur, Dziga, Ricc Frost, Kg Man e Kasia Malenda.

Forever Dub è il suo secondo album solista, uscito il 30 Maggio 2016 per Elastica (www.elasticarecords.com), contenente 12 tracce di musica dub digitale steppa, di cui 8 pezzi inediti e 4 intense versioni remix.
Nel disco sono presenti collaborazioni con Fikir Amlak, star californiana, Marcello Coleman, già voce della band partenopea Almamegretta, i cantanti spagnoli Antz-Oni Rubio e Zaira Zen, vere rivelazioni nel disco e i musicisti Sandro Paradisi (fisarmonicista di fama internazionale già presente in Art of Dub), Luigi Leoni e Alessandro Musco.
Il suo live set e un incrocio di sonorità elettroniche mescolate da effetti quali delay, riverberi, phaser, sirene, filtri che rendono lo spettacolo unico ed irripetibile ogni volta.

Al microfono lo accompagna Zaira Zen, artista spagnola che ha anche preso parte al disco, per rendere lo spettacolo una dub night imperdibile.
